writing prompt #11

What is your legacy? What are you leaving behind for others? (or what do you hope you are leaving behind for others)  Another way to think of this question: how do you want to be remembered by future students? Or do they want to remembered at all? If not, why not?

I want the other kids to remember me by the way I was. I stood up for those who deserved it. I May be overweight, but I have always been overly confident. I'm an amazing friend to those who deserve it, but to those who are bullies and just mean because they have a name, money, or just think they can, I let them know exactly what I think of them. I want girls to remember me for what I am. I want every girl to know that she has a voice and she is allowed to use it whenever she wants. I hope I at least help people to do the right thing for them. If they have abusive parents or a boyfriend, I hope they have the strength to get help. If they believe that they should do drugs like I did, to forget, I hope they realize what it is doing to their lives and stop. I hope that they don't believe it when people in their lives tell them they are worthless, and to prevent them from sleeping with people to feel better about themselves.

In the long run I hope to be that person that girls look to and say, "She did it, why cant I? I'm worth it."
